ABOUT. Hello, my full name is Joseph Olinares Bautista, a Filipino and I go by Pepe when I travel. I am not a professional photographer but I like to observe and capture experiences in which I immerse myself. I take photos only if I could- if it feels right.
OPEN CULTURE. This photoblog is a result of my years of travels. I hope you are enjoying the images as much as I enjoy sharing them. I believe that photos are meant to be freely shared and appreciated, especially in the spirit of openness and accessibility that the Internet allows. Hence, I am releasing my photos through a Creative Commons license under which one can have the liberty to use and re-purpose my content as long as the license terms are respected. In the past my photos have appeared royalty-free in NGO and tourism websites, and even in an in-flight magazine.
PERSONAL. One day not so long ago I decided to drop everything and move to the countryside. I am now enjoying being settled in a farm village in the province of Tarlac- happily a promdi. If I am not busy trading and refining my skills in the stock market during the day, I can be found working in the garden, or reading a book under one of our trees.
